I have a breadth of experience in civil and criminal law. I've had internships with the following organizations:

  • San Diego City Attorney's Office-Civil Unit
  • San Diego City Attorney's Office-Domestic Violence Unit
  • San Diego County Public Defender's Office 
  • San Diego County Alternate Public Defender's Office


I have spent 8 years as an associate at the law firm McDougal, Love, Eckis Boehmer, and Foley where I worked with the litigation and municipal sections.  


  • Municipal-I was a deputy city attorney for the cities of Imperial Beach, Del Mar, Coronado, and Calexico and I was an assistant city attorney for the city of El Cajon.  I was responsible for prosecuting criminal infraction and misdemeanor municipal code violations and ensuring compliance with the municipal code through civil enforcement as well. I was also responsible for enforcing the City of El Cajon's Red Light Camera ticket  program.

  • Litigation-I represented both public agencies and private clients in civil lawsuits in state and federal courts.​​
